My Chapter One’s A Book a day Summer camp where children will be reading 40 books with different weekly themes in 2 months - Fairy tales Reimagined, stories of invention, folktales, cultures, and many others. The books will be spread across all genres and topics like math, science, exploration, fairy tales, folk tales et all.
This is the perfect camp for children who are reluctant readers and also for those who love books. The program will be a collaborative one where we will have children from all age groups to ensure peer group learning.

Fairy tales reimagined: This program is a twist on classic fairy tales. We’ve always read fairy tales as they were presented to us. But have we ever thought what would have happened if Cinderella wore sneakers instead of glass slippers? Why didn't Rapunzel chop her hair herself and use it to slide down the tower? Things would have been different, right? Enroll your child for the camp to give him/her a reason to think and reason it out.

TURBO PHONICS (3.5- 6 years)
Gone are the days when as kids, we had to memorise spellings by heart. A misplacement of a and e, one alphabet here and there would get the whole spelling messed up. It was such an uphill task to memorise long lists of spellings for dictation. That’s because we didn’t learn to read words through phonics. There is a difference between learning to read and learning ‘how to read’.Phonics teaches to connect letters and symbols to their corresponding sounds and combinations of sounds thus making reading easier and simpler - by the rule. This summer, My Chapter One is conducting a Turbo Phonics camp for young children between the age group 3.5- 6 years.
The initial years of schooling for children are very important as they lay the foundation for their academic journey. In these formative years, the knowledge of phonics is very important. Reading with phonics is the best way to introduce children to books and give them a head start to reading.
My Chapter brings to you, Turbo Phonics Summer Camp. This is a program for children between the age of 3.5 to 6 years for a head start in Reading through phonics. It’s a fast track program just for 2 months of summer, where children will learn 5 phonics skills in a fun and playful way! They will be reading 32 enriching stories with morals and values.
It would be an enriching session and not just a mechanical one where they will be introduced to new words and learn about new characters through stories. Here is the perfect opportunity to give your child a Headstart to reading this summer!
